On November 2, 2003, nearly 1,500
citizens from more than 40 Dane County religious congregations, labor unions, and
neighborhood and community organizations stood together to launch Dane County
United into existence, and to celebrate a new set of relationships developing in
our communities.
Dane County United is a new, nonpartisan organization of organizations formed to give Dane County citizens and their organizations a powerful vehicle for collective action in the local public arena for the common good of all people and communities of Dane County.
